Sünde und Sühne

This was one of the first film scripts that I wrote on my undergraduate degree. It's a short film (~25 mins) and I watch/read way too much historical fiction, so I wanted to write a neat little bit of my own.

In 1939 Nazi Germany, a lonely baker named Walter finds himself caught between duty and morality when he discovers a Romani family hiding near his home. As the regime's persecution intensifies, Walter must decide whether to maintain his comfortable silence or risk everything to help the family escape—discovering that in times of moral bankruptcy, even small acts of compassion become revolutionary.
