Hi, I'm Dave!

 

I'm based in London, but am willing to move anywhere.

 

I'm a games designer with an interest in gameplay, systems and narrative design. I've got a background in film writing, but more than anything, I want to create immersive and thought-provoking games.

Favourite games of mine include Subnautica, Disco Elysium, Skyrim, BG3, Papers Please and The Long Dark. Film-wise, I love La Haine and Farewell My Concubine. And when it comes to TV, The Wire and Mad Men are absolute masterpieces.

When I'm not playing or making games, I train BJJ, food-poison myself when I try to cook a fancy dish and watch Derby County lose. If you're into scuba or free-diving, please take me with you, I'd love to get started. Oh I also used to live in China and speak Mandarin.
